Header Overview

Before you can start programming your AscTec AutoPilot, you should first install the AscTec SDK on your computer. The AscTec SDK 2.0 is the latest version without any ACI preinstalled and therefore is a good example for integrating it.

You are able to use Microsoft Windows or Linux. There will be no difference between writing your source code under different OS, but you need a working workspace, where you can transfer your binary on the device. There are two manuals to setup the AscTec SDK under Microsoft Windows and Linux. Please be sure, that you download version 2 and not version 3 of the AscTec SDK.

The tutorial has following chapters:

  1. Setting Up AscTec SDK under Microsoft Windows or Linux .

  2. Install and Setup ACI

  3. Publish variables, commands and parameters
